In 2020, we opened up our first public facing community space in Jersey City with the help of friends and generous donors. Our doors were soon after forced to close when the Covid-19 pandemic erupted. Since then we have existed mostly as a pop up; curating gallery exhibitions, block parties, knowledge shares and markets at different museums, institutions and across many cities in the northeast.

We are thankful for the last five years and everyone who has incubated us and feel it is time to close that chapter and be autonomous again. This time, with a clearer and more focused vision.

We are asking for community to help us crowdfund 20k to rent short term in Jersey City and 200k to buy long term in the northeast. This, as is all our work is a response to the current state of the world and our communities.
